GALP is a proud sponsor of the Battle of Green Talent 2021-2022 edition. As a sponsor, GALP is supporting the entrepreneurial ambitions of hundreds of students and helping them trigger opportunities in the sustainable energy landscape.
The Battle of Green Talent offers to students the opportunity to experience what it’s like to build a start-up, attract investors and set up valuable relationships with professionals. The battle has two sides: entrepreneurs present their green ideas, gather students to create their team and compete with other teams for the attention of investors. Meanwhile, the investors compete between themselves to gather the most impressive investment portfolio.
In April 2022, the Battle will end with a climax during the EIT InnoEnergy Final Event. The ventures with the highest share price after Round 3 will have the opportunity to compete for exceptional prizes, and pitch their venture in front of a distinguished jury. The best team of entrepreneurs and talents wins a package with a cash prize of €10,000.- and a voucher worth €5,000.- to benefit from start-up incubation services from EIT InnoEnergy. This ensures an optimal follow-up of their idea launched during the Battle. The best investor, or team of investors, wins a cash prize of €10,000.- and gets the unique opportunity to attend TBB.2022 for free, with travel and lodging expenses covered. During The Business Booster, they will come into contact with the EIT InnoEnergy start-up community and they will be able to build a broad network.
