Of course, registrations remain open even when the entrepreneurship game has started. The ultimate deadline to register is 30 November, 2020.

Is Battle of Green Talent an online competition?

Yes. You can participate anywhere and anytime you want. The game is accessible on any device that can access the world wide web, be it a computer, a tablet or a mobile. We advise entrepreneurs to use a computer to make changes to the business plan. During the four capital rounds, all activity takes place on the online platform. The Final Event will take place on April 8-10 in Stockholm. Due to covid19 mitigation measures, options to virtually attend the Final Event are being explored.

What kind of support can I expect to transform my idea into a business plan?

The Battle of Green Talent is built upon best practices concerning innovation and entrepreneurship. The online platform guides entrepreneurs by providing tips and examples, in order to be able to write a strong business plan. On top of that, entrepreneurs can look for talents to join their team, and they will receive advice from investors and advisors that registered on the platform.

Can I register more than once?

A participant can only register with one account and can take on the role that is in line with his or her study program (entrepreneur, talent, investor).

Can I create/join more than one venture?

Entrepreneurs have the possibility to launch more than one venture, and talents can join multiple teams.

Is Battle of Green Talent free of charge?

The Battle of Green Talent is offered for free to all students entitled to participate.

Is this initiative part of my curriculum?

EIT InnoEnergy offers The Battle of Green Talent as a supporting and complementary initiative to the existing study programs. Participation is not obligatory, yet considered a very valuable experience for the future.

Do I need the permission of my university/business school to participate?

You do not need explicit permission from your university or business school to participate.

How much time will I have to spend on the Battle of Green Talent?

You decide yourself how much time you devote to this initiative. Experience tells us that entrepreneurs and talents need on average one hour a week during the online competition. You need this time to write your business plan and interact with other actors on the platform. As a result of the setup of the competition, investors tend to spend less time at the start of each competition round, but are more heavily involved during the last week of each round (to assess the business plans and decide upon investments). They then typically spend one to two hours per week.
